Spam Tool
Regularly monitors your IMAP and POP3 servers, removing spam without
you ever having to see it.
- Monitor multiple email accounts.
- Specify a list of phrases/words that identify a message as spam.
- Delete blank emails - these are often sent by spammers to fool spam
filters.
- Delete foreign language emails by specifying a common letter/word/phrase.
Choose one that you would always expect to find in any sentence in your
language. If not present, then it must be spam.
Run the program from the Windows Start Menu. You will see the main screen:

The first thing you will need to do is specify an email server to check.
Click the Add Button in the "Email servers to check" section.
This will bring up a window which allows you to specify what email server
and account you want to check:

Click OK and you will be returned to the main screen.
Now you need to add a phrase or word that will identify a message as
spam. Click the Add button:

The following window will be shown:

When you click OK, the spam phrases will be listed on the main window:

For each spam phrase, you can see a tick box which indicates if the Spam
Tool is to search the Subject and/or the message body for it. Each spam
phrase also has a count (#hits) to inicate how many spams it has successfully
deleted. This is currently showing 0 as we have not run the program yet.
Sorting
You can sort the list of Servers and the list of spam phrases by clicking
the column header. Clicking the same column heading again reverses the
sort order.
Start
Click the Start button and the program will search each server in
turn for the listed spam phrases, deleting any emails that match. The
"Spam Results" tab will show you which messages are being deleted.
If you wish to keep the Spam Tool running, minimize the main window instead
of closing it.
