Web Tools
- Monitor up to 4 websites,

look at a set of websites.
Web Site Monitor
Even the best web servers in the world will go down occasionally. This
tool lets you monitor up to 4 web sites so that you at least know before
your customers/end-users tell you!
Run the program from the Windows Start Menu. You will see the main screen:

You enter the web site address (you can specify a particular page if
you wish) and a word or phrase that the web page contains. If the system
can't retrieve that page, it can beep and/or send an e-mail to an address
you specify. You can specify how often the sites are tested and how long
you should wait for the page to respond.
By entering a web address in the Control URL, you can be sure that the
problem is not due to your Internet connection being down.
Click the Start Button. Progress of the operation will be shown in the
Log. The caption of the Start button will change to "Stop" -
you can click this anytime to stop the current operation.
If you don't want Outlook to prompt you with a "A program is trying
to access your Address Book" (or similar) warnings, tick the box
"Automatically over-ride the Outlook Security warning". A small
program called Clickyes (courtesy of Context
Magic) will appear in your taskbar.
If you wish to keep the Monitor running, minimize the main window instead
of closing it.
Monitor Results
The "Monitor Results" tab will show you details of each monitoring
attempt.

Open multiple web sites at the touch of a button.
At least once every day, I tend to look at the same list of web sites.
I suspect I am not alone in doing so. While it is relatively easy using
Favorites, it is still a chore I wanted to automate.
Using this tool, it is easy to do.Type the list of sites - each one on
a new line. Then click the Open button to open all of them in a separate
browser window.
